After nearly two years of pandemic-driven remote work, the list includes a record number of new companies and a substantial variety of titles, both signs the shift to hiring for remote-based jobs is here to stay. In the past, most entry-level remote positions have been limited to customer service, sales and technical support jobs. “It’s still a tight labor market, which means companies have to cater to what jobseekers want — and that’s remote work,” Gardner says.
